It's that deep inky sapphire, not the purple-tinted navy that budget factories pump out. Wore em to a dinner at Zinc in New Haven and my date who works in fashion said "nice shoes" without me even mentioning them. Walked the Yale campus and Wooster Square all afternoon breaking them in, leather is buttery with no painful heel rub. The blue leather on these board shoes hits different under the Long Beach sunlight, deadass looks like liquid sapphire.
