Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon AJ4219-400

In photos the shades looked fairly soft, but outdoors they stand out more than I expected. That works beautifully with light denim and plain tees, although not with every outfit I own. Still one of the most interesting designs in my rotation.

Pkgod Vans OTW Old Skool 36 Pearlized Pack Pink Black

Threw these on with light denim and a grey hoodie and the pink-black contrast did the heavy lifting. The pearlized coating makes them look more expensive than the price tag suggests. Only thing is the tongue slid to the side during a longer walk, but re-lacing through the tongue loop fixed it.

Picked these for my daughter's school outfits because she wanted something different from basic white sneakers. The red accents give the AMIRI pair some personality but she can still wear them with jeans or sweats. I would avoid rainy days with this color.

The all-black layered upper looks clean with cargos, and the LED sole is fun after dark. The shoe felt firm and bulky during the first wear. It is more of a style pair than an all-day walking shoe. Four stars for the weight.

These Air Jordan 4s look clean with cargos and a varsity jacket. The white upper and Military Blue panels photograph really well. The collar felt firm during the first wear, so I would break them in before an all-day school schedule.

My freshman needed an everyday pair that was not another all-white sneaker. The Pink Glow accents make these Gel-Kayano 14s easy to notice, and the mesh upper works with his jeans and varsity jackets.

I like that the Black Phantom colorway is dark without being completely plain. The reverse Swoosh, white stitching, and black nubuck add enough detail for pictures. Wore them with relaxed jeans and kept the rest of the outfit simple.

Picked up the Balenciaga Track Tess in black and white for campus and they have been working with everything. The mesh and nylon layers give the shoe some texture without another color. They look clean with grey sweats or dark denim.
