Ordered these because the gold and silver contrast on white looked insane in the listing. In person the metallic silver is more muted than I wanted for summer fits and the exposed foam makes these feel fragile compared to standard leather AF1s. Still a well-made shoe and I get the design language now I have it in hand but I reach for my regular Forces more often than these.

I wanted this to be an everyday sneaker, but the multicolor corduroy is a little high-maintenance for me. It picks up visible lint, and I would not wear it in bad weather. Excellent design, just better suited to cleaner and drier days.

Saw someone wearing the retail pair at a cafe last month and when I put these side by side the silver detailing was the only giveaway I could spot.
