The black Runner style looks clean for class, especially with baggy jeans or grey sweats. I like the layered upper because it gives the shoe more detail without being too loud. Only downside is they feel a little stiff at first, so I would break them in before wearing them all day.

The Balenciaga Runner in black is the only sneaker that looks appropriate on the Atlantic City boardwalk at noon and in a casino lounge at midnight. The all-black distressed aesthetic fits the AC vibe perfectly, a little worn, a little glamorous. Walked from Stockton campus to the Steel Pier and back, the chunky sole absorbed every wooden plank and concrete step.
